I've been slowly starting to work with photoshop again and I must say it's getting quite fun to work with large art work. It's so much more interesting to work with stuff you can add emotion and thoughts to, compared to Signatures where it's mostly creating appealing stuff to the general eye.
So far it's been interesting but also pretty dry. I could probably create 2-3 pieces a day but none of them would have any specific thought or concept attached to them.
The first piece I did after coming back to photoshop was this one,

It was rather interesting to hear what people had to say about it, what they thought it meant and why she was so calm when the world was about to end. My mother took a look at it for quite some time and decided to put it as a wallpaper at work. At the end of the day lots of people started discussing what it meant, and oddly enough hardly anyone noticed the text. I heard everything from "Humanity is always trying to stop the inevitable" and "It's something political about it".
Comments like this might be a little 'deep' but I really did appreciate it.

This one had no concept to start with, it was simply one of those 'shit I'm bored' pieces that turned out to look rather okay. The idea behind it was from the In Flames song called Suburban Me.
I've always interpreted the song as the doubt of religion. Has god forgotten me cause I can't believe?
